Tampa Bay Rays
Nike City Connect x Tampa Bay Rays, 2024
In 2024, the Tampa Bay Rays launched the Grit and Glow uniform in partnership with Nike and their City Connect campaign. The uniform design was inspired by the rich skate history in the Tampa Bay area.
In collaboration with the Creative, Marketing and Social teams, I facilitated the creation of a branded microsite, social posts and templates, retail collateral, and in-venue signage for the launch.
Home of the Rays, 2025
After Hurricane Milton ripped the roof off of Tropicana Field in the fall of 2024, the displaced Rays were slated to play the 2025 season at George M. Steinbrenner Field, the spring training facility of the New York Yankees.
Myself and a core group of individuals from various departments flipped GMS from Yankees to Rays in a four-day window between spring training and regular season. This included conducting surveys throughout the space, working with the Creative Team to build out artwork for the space, coordinating with local vendors to produce over 5,000 pieces of signage, and managing teams of 40+ installers to install ever piece of collateral.
Return to Tropicana Field, 2026
Tropicana Field reopened in April 2026 with
a new roof and significant improvements to the facility. Almost every square inch of the stadium required repairs and updated signage. I worked with internal Operations and Creative teams, external contractors, and local signage vendors to ensure Tropicana Field was ready for opening day. From concept to creation, I not only oversaw marquee projects such as the Cownose Clubhouse, but also the often overlooked essentials such as wayfinding and ADA signage.
