Washington Commanders
Mascot Launch: Major Tuddy
As one of the last major projects of the Washington Commanders inaugural season, the team debuted their first mascot in franchise history: Major Tuddy.
Fan sentiment was a huge part of this project, so in my role I built webpages for fans to share their thoughts and sat in on fan focus groups to gather information about what was important to them. Once we aggregated fan feedback, all of us on the Marketing team worked closely with BAM! Mascots to bring Major Tuddy to life.
Debuting an NFL mascot is a once in a career opportunity and we wanted to make sure the excitement didn’t end with the on-field moment. In partnership with Pepsi, our team also planned an in-stadium activation which included a mascot meet-and-greet, and producing limited-edition mascot merchandise.

Command Legacy | 90th Anniversary
July 9, 2022 marked 90 years since the franchise was founded. In order to contribute to the anniversary celebrations, I designed and coded CommandLegacy.com, a website which featured historical moments celebrating the rich 90-year history of the franchise and allowed fans to vote for who should be added to the “90 Greatest” list.
As a continuation of the Command Legacy campaign, the team also revealed the permanent installation honoring the late Sean Taylor at FedEx Field. I led an activation in that space where fans could leave fond memories they had of Sean during his time with the team.
Commanders 2022 – 2023 Season
I worked with graphic designers, copy writers, and an external vendor to produce (9) nine volumes of Gameday Magazine, an 85-page book including up-to-date rosters, newsworthy articles and franchise history.
